I am an artist based in a small village south of Barcelona, working primarily in drawing, painting, and printmaking.
Originally from the UK, I spent many years in London working across art, illustration, advertising, and architecture.
As an illustrator, I worked on a range of commissioned projects, including campaigns for the UK National Health Service focused on positive representations of vulnerable people, and an advertising campaign for NatWest Bank (the Little Hobo campaign). I also contributed animation work for Pepsi’s purified bottled water brand.
In 2000, I had the honour of working with architect Will Alsop on the British Pavilion for the Venice Architecture Biennale.
After moving to Spain, my practice expanded into web design, 3D modelling, and architectural visualisation. During this time, my work with early 3D modelling tools led to recognition by Google for innovative use of their software. Together with my partner, I later established an architectural practice, which we ran for several years, completing a range of projects primarily in Aragón.
Throughout these different phases — whether working in AutoCAD, producing 3D renders, or drawing with charcoal — drawing has remained the constant. The tools have changed, but the underlying impulse has not.
My current art practice represents both a return and a distillation: a renewed focus on drawing and painting as direct, physical acts. The work is informed by decades of looking, making, and problem‑solving across disciplines.
This is not a new beginning so much as a continuation — one that brings everything before it into a more concentrated form.
